Processing: All Collage All the Time Forevah

So, you know how I said yesterday that my Instacollage project was probably over? Turns out, it will never be over! Yay!

Today, Dan helped me rewrite my algorithm so the width of the slices varies each time the collages are generated.

The effect is totally different, and as lovely as ever.

I also have some more complicated ideas for future collage patterns/effects that require I think about geometry and use texturing and begin shape/end shape to accomplish. Unfortunately, the last time I thought about geometry was at least 12 years ago. Whoops!

Yay! It’s gonna be all-collage-all-the-time-FOREVAH (or at least, until my enthusiasm for this project dies, whenever that is.)
